Mr. Danny Richardson

Daniel “Danny” Lamar Richardson passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at MS Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. He was 59 years old. The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, February 4th from 6:00- 8:00 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Saturday, February 5th at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with visitation one hour prior beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories. Danny was born November 11, 1962 in Jackson, MS to the late Gerald Ray and Winnie Merle Richardson. He has lived his whole life in the Florence/ Richland area and has been the Warehouse Manager at CEMI- USA in Jackson for the last 9 years. He enjoyed fishing, camping, boating, hunting and anything outdoors. He was a handy man who could do just about anything. His favorite pastime was playing with his grandsons. Danny is survived by his wife of 21 years, Teresa Richardson of Florence; son, Gary Chase Gilmer (Kristen) of Florence; grandsons, Bowan and Levi Gilmer; sister, Joanne Ratliff (Jay) Of Vicksburg; brothers, Ray Richardson (Kathy) of Florence, Mike Richardson of Richland, Jimmy Dale Richardson (Cheryl) of Polkville, and Chris Richardson of Bay Springs; and numerous nieces and nephews.
