Miss Kayla Joyce Padgett

Kayla Joyce Padgett passed away in Brandon on Thursday, August 5, 2021. Kayla was born on February 11, 1961 to Thomas and Patricia Joyce Padgett in Laurel, Mississippi. She lived in places like Arizona on the Navaho Indian Reservation, Florence, MS, and Vernon, Alabama where she finished high school close to the top of her class. Kayla also graduated from Blue Cliff School of Massage and was a licensed massage therapist. She enjoyed studying alternative/holistic medicine. She was known for her love and care for animals. Ms. Padgett was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Padgett. She is survived by her mother, Patricia Padgett of Morton; and sisters, Joey (Bryan) Hayes of Brandon and Jennifer Padgett of Morton. We love you Kayla and will miss you. You will always be remembered.
