Adolphus Neal

Mr. A.E. (Eugene) Neal, Jr., 88, died on June 18, 2010 at Lakeland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Visitation will be Thursday, June 24, 2010 at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church Florence with services following at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Florence Cemetery.\ \ Mr. Neal was a veteran of the US Air Force and a retired Instrument Specialist with Texas Eastern Gas Transmission Corporation. He was also a farmer and a Mason. His hobbies were fishing; family photography and family gatherings.\ \ He is preceded in death by his wife, the late Edna Jamell Whatley Neal.\ \ He is survived by sons: Eddie (Cheryle) Neal of Arizona and Glen (Belinda) Neal of Madison, MS; daughters: Jane (Leonard) Rickman and Anne Neal Houston both of Brandon, FL.; sister, Carolyn Nelson of Florence, MS; 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.\ \
