Alan Weathersby

Alan Brooks Weathersby,50 , passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at UMC in Jackson. Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life on Thursday, August 25, 2011 from 5pm until the 6pm service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. \ \ Alan grew up in south Jackson attending Wingfield High School. He was employed with Adam/Evans Water Proofing and was an avid bicyclist. Alan enjoyed time with bike friends and especially spending time with family. He was a friend to all.\ \ He is preceded in death by his mother Jean Middleton.\ \ Survivors include his wife of 22 years Betty Fulgham Weathersby of Wesson; sons Adam and Hayden Weathersby both of Wesson; father A.B. Weatherby of Terry; sisters Janet Thompson (Sean) of Jackson and Jill Middeleton (Heather) of Pearl; cousin Rusty "Cuz" Pyron (Lisa) of Flowood and 8 nieces and nephews.\ \ In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Longleaf Trace, PO Box 15187, Hattiesburg, MS 39404. This was a bike trail Alan enjoyed traveling. \
