Mr. Albert Ray “Rusty” Dulaney, Jr went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, January 5, 2023. Rusty was 66 years old. He was born to Albert Ray Dulaney, Sr. and Beulah Parsons, October 25, 1956. A lifelong resident of Terry, Rusty loved drag racing, restoring and showing competitively, his 1934 Ford Coupe, that was a gift from his father. He enjoyed going to “Cruising the Coast” with his wife of 24 years, Jennifer. He loved playing guitar and singing. He was the oldest of three brothers and loved his family. He was a wonderful father and grandfather. He was passionate about spending time with his children and grandchildren and never missed their games or events. He loved attending Bethesda Baptist Church, where he was a lifelong active member. He sang in the choir and led music occasionally.
He is preceded in death by his father, A. R. Dulaney, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Dulaney of Terry; daughters, Lacy (Jeff) Thomas of Terry, Kaylee (fiancé-Zach Smith) of Terry, and Brittany (Chris) Wilson of Brandon; his mother, Beulah Dulaney of Terry, and two brothers, Frank (Pam) Dulaney of Terry and Gus (Cristan)Dulaney of Clinton. He is also survived by his six grandchildren, Trey Kelly, Brennan and Reaves Thomas, Cash, Trippe, and Easton Wilson.
The family will receive friends and relatives on Sunday, January 8th from 4:00-7:00 pm at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Visitation at Bethesda Baptist Church will begin Monday, January 9th at 10:00 am until the hour of service at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at the Bethesda Baptist Church Cemetery.
