Mrs. Alene Moss

Mrs. Alene Moss, 77, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at her home in Pearl. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, May 26th from 5-7 PM and Friday, May 27th from 9 AM until the 10 AM Funeral Service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories. Mrs. Moss was an Air Force wife for 20 years. She loved to travel and going on tours of homes. She loved cooking and she taught all her kids how to do it. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Moss is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Moss; her parents, Henry and Lenora Neely; and her brother, James Neely. She is survived by her sons, Gary (Dixie) Moss of Byram and Charlie Moss of Taylorsville; daughters Pam Moss of Pearl and Debbie (Jeff) Butler of Florence; her sister, Linda Westerfield of Florence; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
