Alesia Mae Dufrene passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Merit Health River Oaks in Flowood, MS. She was only 61 years of age. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. at Serenity Falls, 4866 Kennedale New Hope Road, Suite 310, Fort Worth, TX 76140. Alesia was born June 16, 1960 to Betty Ann Morgan and Alvin Jacob Dufrene in Des Allemands, LA where she was raised. She was a talented beautician and was dedicated for over 40 years in making her clients beautiful. She was devoted to her family and especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking for her family, friends, co-workers, everyone she knew. She loved her dogs, Buddy “Turtle” and Charley and could never resist the temptation of gambling. Along with her parents, Alesia is also preceded in death by her grandmother, Ethel Morgan and her brother, Jesse Duncan. She is survived by her twin daughters, who were born on her 18th birthday, Brandy Johnston and her husband Tony Johnston of Florence, MS and Candy Allen of Burleson, TX; her sister, Cynthia Daniel of Keller, TX; her grandchildren, Brooke Allen, Connor Johnston, and Lyla Johnston; along with her step grandchildren, Barbara Ellis and Brett Allen; her only niece, Jessica Cook; and her life-long best friend, Gary McDonald.
