Alfred Taylor “T” Wallace, 85, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at his home in Richland. A Graveside service will be Friday, December 15th at 2:00 pm at Glenwood Memorial Park in Richland. Mr. Wallace was a longtime resident of Richland and a faithful member of First United Methodist Church in Richland where he was a Groundskeeper for many years. He was a volunteer for the South West Rankin Food Pantry. He retired from Borden Milk after 30 years. After retiring, he drove for State Wide Delivery Service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy where he served our country in the Korean Conflict. A history buff, he was a wonderful story teller. He was a loving husband, dad, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to many. He is preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Billie Mae Wallace; his granddaughter, Mindy Wolf McCraw; and brothers, Ed and Luther Wallace. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Rachael Wallace; his three daughters, Brenda (Rick) Wolf of Richland, Becky (Dwayne) Fendlason of Richland and Betty (Rusty) Alliston of Auburn, AL; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks to his niece, Mrs. Mary Hudson for her care during his illness. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be made to First United Methodist Church of Richland Building Fund.
