Aline Lewis

Mrs. Aline W. Lewis, 85, of Harrisville, died peacefully Sunday, February 1, 2009 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. Visitation will be Monday, 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home in Florence. Services are Tuesday, February 3rd at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence followed by interment at Palestine Cemetery in Harrisville.\ \ Mrs. Lewis, a homemaker, was a lifelong resident of Harrisville and a member of Palestine Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Grady Lewis; brothers: Johnny Welch and J.M. Welch; three sons: Steve, William Ray and R.V. Lewis and one daughter, Judy Lewis Rogers.\ \ She is survived by two brothers: James Welch and Percy D. Welch and a sister, Lonnie Mae Ellis; two children: A.C. (Goldie) Lewis of Harrisville and Mary Sue (Donald) Bonzi of Yuba City, CA; 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.\ \ In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Hospice Ministries, Inc., PO Box 1228, Ridgeland, MS 39158-1228.
