Mr. Allen Adams Ward

Allen Adams Ward passed into the arms of Jesus on Friday, December 31, 2021 at Simpson General Hospital in Mendenhall, MS. Mr. Ward was born May 19, 1939 in Bolivar County, MS to the late Ed and Velma Ward, the last of 13 children. He was baptized at Skyway Hills Church of Christ. He was devoted to his family and he worked hard to provide for them. He loved hunting, raised livestock and also worked for over 20 years at G&B Battery. Along with his parents, Mr. Ward is also preceded in death by 6 brothers and 6 sisters and his wife, Elizabeth Ann Stingley Ward. He is survived by the mother of his children, Judy Koenig of Florence; sons, Wilson Ward of Florence, Shelby Ward (Jason Lott) of Seminary, John (Kathie) Ward of Florence; daughter, Theresa Stanford of Harrisville; grandchildren, Reginea Ward, Douglas Wilson, Marie (Josh) Hollingsworth, Kenneth Wilson, Leslie Ward, John (Sarah) Ward, Brian (Tasha) Ward, Jacob Ward, Jonathan Ward, and Curtis Edmond; and 19 great grandchildren.
