Allen (Bo) Lawrence, Sr

Allen (Bo) Lawrence, 84, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2012 at Brandon Nursing and Rehab Center.\ Visitation is scheduled for 5 until 8 PM Monday and Tuesday from 9 until the 10:00 AM Chapel service, all at Chancellor Funeral Home, Florence. Burial will follow at Sinai Cemetery in Florence.\ A US Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict, Mr. Lawrence worked for 45 years in the newspaper business and retired from Gannett Corporation. He was a member of Lakeshore Congregational Methodist Church.\ He was preceded in death by his parents J.B., Sr and Juanita Lawrence, and his brother J.B. Lawrence, Jr. \ He leaves behind his wife of 57 years Helen Smith Lawrence, his son Beau (Ava) Lawrence, his daughter Vickie (Steve) Bryan, Four Grandchildren, Larron Bryan, Brooke Woods, Katie Lawrence and Jamie (Jessica) LaPeze, and three great grandchildren Parker Woods, Maddox Bryan, and Sophia LaPeze.\ His family extends special thanks to Brandon Nursing and Rehab Center,Gineva Hospice, and Dr. Michael Albert for their Care.\
