Allene Broome

Mrs. Hilda Allene Broome, 79, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at Clinton Healthcare in Clinton. Visitation will be Friday, September 14th from 5-8 pm and Saturday, from 1 pm until the 2 pm funeral service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence with burial in the Garden of Memories.\ Mrs. Broome was a homemaker, a loving mother, and an animal lover who loved her dog "Fluffy". She enjoyed being outdoors, no matter the temperature or weather. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Florence.\ Mrs. Broome is survived by her husband, Percy Broome of Florence; sons, Donald Ray Broome of Richland and Melton Daryll Broome of Florence; daughter, Phyllis Broome Creel (George) of Florence; grandchildren, Traci Creel, Angie Neely, Justin Broome, and Josh Broome; great grandchildren, Conner Neely, Cooper Neely, Logan Broome, and Carter Broome.\ The family would like to thank Dr. John Biggs and Clinton Healthcare Staff for the love and care shown to their mother. \ In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to First Baptist Church of Florence.\
