Allie Harmon Reves, born February 20, 1929, died August 30, 2015, after a long fight with Parkinson’s disease. She is preceded in death by her parents Walter Harmon and Lillian Harrison Harmon; brothers Lewis Harmon and Audrey L. “Sonny” Harmon; sisters Eunice H. Adair, Ozel H. Horsley. Survivors include her husband Clyde W. Reves, Sr.; son Clyde W. Reves, Jr. (Debbie); daughter Cheryl Slawson (Jimmy); sisters Christine H. Windham (Douglas), Beautrice H. McMullan (John); grandchildren Laura R. Fuqua (Jeremy), Matthew W. Reves, Angela S. Bullock (Shannon), Elaine S. McLemore (Carl), five great grandchildren, many cousins, nieces and nephews. Allie graduated high school at Morton MS. She was employed by McKeeeson-Robinson, South Central Bell Telephone Co.,General Electric Credit Corp. and The Merchants Co. She retired after having worked 31 plus years with the Jackson, Mississippi local office of the State of Mississippi Employment Security Commission. Mrs. Reves was a member of Providence Presbyterian Church in Clinton. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 1, 2015 from 6-8pm and Wednesday, September 2, 2015 from 10am until the 11am funeral service, all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Interment will follow at Terry Cemetery.
