Alma Berry Bridges

Alma “Teenie” Berry Bridges passed away Friday, July 29, 2022. She was 98 years old. Teenie was born January 24, 1924 to the late Charles and Mae Belle Tucker Berry in Harrisville. She was the oldest member of Harrisville Baptist Church where she sang in the choir for many years. Teenie was a supervisor at AT&T for over 40 years. She enjoyed working in her yard and growing flowers. Her favorite activity was swimming and her best friend was her beloved dog, Buster Brown.

Teenie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy Wilkie Bridges; a daughter, Charlene Larsen; a brother, Howard Berry and a sister, Laura Katherine Bridges.

She is survived by, her grandson, Michael Larsen from L.A., CA; son-in-law, Nils Larsen from Harrisville; sister-in-law, Vesta Chesteen from Jackson; nephews, Edmond Berry (Jeanie) from Harrisville and William Chesteen from Orlando; nieces, Elizabeth Seaney from Harrisville and Donna Chesteen from Orlando; great niece, Suzanne Mulligan (Dennis) from Harrisville; great-great nephews, Zachary Mulligan (Gracie) and Colton Mulligan; great-great niece, Madalynn Mulligan and great-great-great nephew, Jaxon Mulligan numerous cousins and extended family.

Funeral services will be at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at 11 AM with Bro. David Sartin officiating and Bro. Rich Mayfield assisting. Visitation will begin at 10 AM until 11 AM.

Serving the family as pallbearers are Zachary and Colton Mulligan, Christian and David Macoy and Gabriel Pennington.
