Mr. Alvin Lee Gibson

Alvin Lee Gibson, 81, passed away May 20, 2016 at his home in Byram, MS. There will be private funeral services on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Chancellor Funeral Home Chapel, Byram. Mr. Gibson was born in Hayesville, NC on February 2, 1935 to the late Doyle Gibson and Velva Logan Gibson. He was a tool and die maker, employed with Packard Electric for 39 years. He loved horse racing and his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Jimmy and his granddaughter, Emily. Survivors include his daughters, Pam (Dent) Anglin of Jackson, MS; Lori Gibson and Melanie Johnson of Titusville, FL; and Kathy (Anthony) Price of Terry, MS; his two brothers, Richard (Janet) Gibson and Randy Gibson, all of Ohio; the Mother of his children, Delores Gibson; three grandchildren, Karley (Chandler) Ditto, Kelly Price and Adriane Anglin; one great-grandson, Reece Ditto.
