Alvin Ray Oldham, 79, died Friday, December 7, 2012 at The Arbor in Ridgeland. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Sunday and 1-2 p.m. Monday at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday in the funeral home chapel. Visitation will be held 1-2 p.m. Tuesday at New Hope Church of God in Pioneer, LA with a 2 p.m. graveside in the church cemetery.\ \ Mr. Oldham was a petroleum engineer for Halliburton, Superior Oil, and retired from the I.R.S. after 25 years. He was an avid LSU Tiger fan and in his free time he loved yard work and gardening. Most importantly, he was a very faithful servant of our Lord and His church. He was a role model to all who knew him. \ \ Mr. Oldham was preceded in death by his parents, Malcom and Lilla Oldham; and brother, Raymond Oldham.\ \ He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Glenna Oldham of Ridgeland; son, Randy Oldham (Karen) of Oklahoma City, OK; daughters, Jana Clark (Scott) of Baltimore, MD and Lora Martin (Tim) of Byram; grandchildren, Neil Oldham (Julie), Krystin Clark, Alisa Clark, Mickinzi Clark, Dillon Martin, Kali Martin, and Brianna Martin; great granddaughter, Hadley Oldham; brother, Marvin Oldham (Jean) of Oak Grove, LA; and sisters, Vivian Coody (Arnold) of West Monroe, LA and Glenda Durr (Bobby) of Baton Rouge, LA.\ \ In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Mid America Christian University in Oklahoma City. \ \ The family guestbook may be signed at www.chancellorfuneralhome.com. \
