Amanda Hankins

Mandy Ruth (Ward) Hankins born August 28, 1936 went home to the Lord on July 27th, 2009. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She is survived by Jack, her husband of nearly 57 years; her four children: Sheila Hawthorne, Jack Jr., George, and Jimmy; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers; one sister, and countless relatives and friends. Viewing will be on Thursday evening July 30th from 5-8 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence, MS with funeral services on Friday, July 31st at the funeral home chapel at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Palestine Cemetery near Florence, MS
