Andrew Jackson “Mack” McKenzie, Jr., 86, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2013 at VA Nursing Home in Jackson. Visitation will be 5-8pm Wednesday, July 24 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Services will be 2pm Thursday, July 25 in the funeral home chapel followed by interment at Clifton Cemetery in Forest, MS. Mr. McKenzie was born in Tylertown, MS, and lived in Jackson since 1952. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict and retired from the City of Jackson in the Traffic Division. Mr. McKenzie was a member of First Baptist Church of Byram where he was an ordained Deacon. Survivors include his wife of 49 years Pansy McKenzie of Jackson; son Mark (Christe) McKenzie of Florence; sister Elouise Rushing of Tylertown; grandchildren Christian and Cailin; nephews Kim & Keith Rushing and Andy McKenzie; niece Kim Golden On line guest book available at www.chancellorfuneralhome.com.
