Angela "Angie" Renee Barlow

Angela “Angie” Renee Barlow passed into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at St. Dominic’s Medical Center in Jackson. She was 60 years old. The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, October 13^th from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. and again on Friday, October 14th from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow at Glenwood Memorial Park in Richland.

Angela was born June 26, 1962, to the late Johnny Earl and Carolyn Stewart in Jackson, MS where she lived until moving to the Florence area in 1988. She attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Angie loved her family first and foremost. She would always support her grandchildren, nieces and nephews in all their activities as long as her health would allow. Angie enjoyed tap dancing, swimming, and watching ice skating. She loved everyone like they were her family, and she never missed the opportunity to give someone a hug, even strangers.

Angie is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her son, Wendell (Sarah) Barlow of Florence; grandchildren, Dalton Jones, Axel Barlow, and Maybre Barlow; sisters, Cindy (George) Loftin of Florence, Stephanie (Robbie) Gatlin of Madison, Shelia (Joe) Blackmon of Harrisville; and Ashley (Justin) Bagwell of Pearl; nieces, Crystal (Mark) Sanford, Victoria (Chris) Hemphill, and Kaylee Bagwell; nephew, Andy Gatlin; great nieces, Caroline and Ella Grace Sanford; and great nephews, Charlie and Henry Hemphill.
