Mrs. Angelyn Horton

Angelyn B. Horton of Terry, MS passed away Monday, August 5, 2019, at the age of 87, while resting at her home. Visitation and service will be held at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram, MS. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 8, 2019 from 6-8pm and Friday, August 9, 2019, from 10-11am. Services will begin at 11am. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park. Angelyn was a native of Conehatta, MS. She was presently a member of First Baptist Church of Terry. She spent most of her adult life working at JC Penny. She enjoyed spending time with family and traveling with her husband and church friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Horton. Angelyn leaves behind four sons, Jimmie and wife Mary of Pearl, MS, Ronnie and wife Marilyn of Conehatta, Ricky and wife Teresa of Brandon, and Justin and wife Ellen of Terry. She is also survived by six grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and one brother, James Blackburn of Grand Prairie, TX. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Silver Bells at First Baptist Church of Terry in the name of Angelyn Horton.
