Ms. Anita McCollum Gandy

Anita McCollum Gandy, age 61, passed away September 30, 2015, in Terry, MS, after a courageous battle with cancer. Ms. Gandy was born July 15, 1954, in Jackson, MS. She was the daughter of Jamie McCollum and the late Robert Eugene McCollum. After graduating from Wingfield High School and Hinds Community College, Ms. Gandy got a job in banking. Later, she began her job with HUD in Jackson, MS. When she retired from HUD she started her own consulting business for several years. Ms. Gandy is survived by her son Robert Eugene Gandy and her mother Jamie McCollm, both of Terry, MS and her sister Darlene McCollum Walrod (John) of Columbus, MS. Also, surviving her are nieces and nephews through marriage. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
