Mrs. Ann Hancock

Mrs. Ann Hancock, 81, passed away Saturday July 31, 2021 at St. Dominic Jackson Memorial Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 3, 2021 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Florence Assembly of God, 3445 Hwy 49 South, Florence, MS 39073. Funeral services will be 10:00am Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at the church with burial following at Hazlehurst City Cemetery. A resident of Jackson all of her life, Mrs. Hancock had been employed with School Pictures for 23 years, at Roses in Jackson for 15 years and had retired from Walmart after 11 years. She was a member of Florence Assembly of God. She is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Beatrice Stewart, Sr and her husband, Herbert Hancock Mrs. Hancock is survived by her sons, William Tackett and Jeff Tackett; her daughter, Sharon Tackett; her brother, Herbert E. Stewart, Jr and 2 grandchildren, Monica Herrington and Patrick Tackett.
