Mrs. Ann Baecher Williams

Ann Elizabeth Baecher Williams, 82, died Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at MS Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation will be 12noon until the 2pm Funeral Service Friday, April 8, 2016 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Interment will follow at Lakewood South. Mrs. Williams, daughter of the late Fred and Sallie Gonia Baecher, Sr., was born and reared in Crystal Springs. Having come from South Jackson, she lived the last 16 years in Byram. She was a member of Country Woods Baptist Church and member of the Country Maidens Sunday School Class. Mrs. Williams retired from McRae’s Operations. She loved to bless others with her cooking. Enjoying all sports, she was an avid MS Braves Fan, and member of the Booster Club for the players. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jesse B. Williams; brothers, Fred Baecher, Jr., Joe Baecher, Miles Baecher and Julian Baecher; step-son Donnie Williams. Survivors include her daughter Judy Sanders of Byram; step-children, Bonnie (Ronnie) Crawford of Byram, Shirley (Joe) Ainsworth of Brandon and Buddy (Shirley) Williams of Jackson; brother, Gerald Baecher of Dayton, OH; sister-in-law Malory Baecher of Brandon; 15 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
