Mrs. Anna Elisabeth Haley passed into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at her home in Jackson. She was 64 years old. Anna was born March 29, 1958 in Bootsbox, Germany to the late Russell and Bonnie Jean Thomas. She was later adopted to the United Stated and raised in the Pentecostal church where she attended the Church of the Vine. She was an amazing mother and foster mother and was know as “Nanny” to 12 grandchildren. She was a hard worker who served as a waitress and cook in many restaurants. In her free time, she enjoyed photography and she loved country music. Along with her parents, she is also preceded in death by her daughters, Heather Marie Fulton and Leighanne Chisholm; and her grandson, Patrick Dameon Hodges. She is survived by her fiancé, Thomas McKenzie of Jackson; daughters, Amanda Jean Whorton (Mike) of Greenville, MS, Angela Beth Everett (Paul) of Richland, MS, and Michelle Glidewell of Richland, MS; sons, Michael Lee Hodges of Richland, MS, Jessie Russell Pettway (Diane) of Greenville, MS and Billy Houston Fulton III (June) of Jackson, MS; sister, Emma Thomas of Colorado; and beloved grandchildren, Tristan Drake Padgett, Hunter Blake Broome, Michael Lee Hodges, Jr., Brannen Hodges, Christopher Chisholm, Bryanna Myers, Haley Hoover, Kily Hodges, Rainy Broome, Lessie Broome, Candace Cross, and Katelyn Phillips.
