Ms. Anna Kate "Katy" Menotti

Anna Kate “Katy” Menotti, 23, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at her home in Florence. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. Funeral Service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow at Mountain Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Katy was born in Greenville, MS and was raised in the Catholic Faith where she attended St. Joseph Catholic Church in Leland, MS. She was a graduate of Raymond High School and Hinds Community College. She loved to entertain and was an extreme outdoors kind of girl that loved to hunt, ride 4-wheelers, and loved to enjoy a bon fire with friends. She loved music, especially Reba, and she love to Karaoke. She was a “Delta Girl” with a smile that everyone will remember. Katy is preceded in death by her dad, Joe Menotti; her baby sister, Aniston; grandparents, Patsy and Pete Menotti and grandfather, Randy Breithaupt. She is survived by her mother, Nikki B. Sandifer of Florence; grandmother, Shirley Breithaupt of Greenville; brother, Jake Menotti of Florence; sister, Marli Thornton of Florence; step brother, Keaton Sandier of Florence; step sister, Sky Sandifer of Florence; close cousins, Rodney Taylor, Brooklyn Rodgers, and Kennedie Rodgers; extended family and a host of friends. She leaves behind her faithful friend and black lab, “Rosa”.
