Ann Covington Whitehead

Ann Covington Whitehead, 70, died Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at her home in Terry. Visitation will be 2-4pm Saturday, November 10 and 1-2pm Sunday November 11, with services beginning at 2pm, all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Interment will follow at Terry Cemetery.\ \ Mrs. Whitehead was born December 21, 1941 and was a lifelong resident of Terry where she was a member of First Baptist Church. She was a lover of animals, taking in town's strays.\ \ She is preceded in death by her parents Jack & Myrtle Covington; brother Jackie Covington and son Marvin Hamaker.\ \ Survivors include her son David (Jill) Hamaker of Grand Blanc, MI; brother Frank Covington of Indianola; grandsons Samuel & Jacob; a number of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.\ \ On line guest book available at www.chancellorfuneralhome.com.\
