Anne Rush died Wednesday, October 23, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 52. Born in Jackson, MS she was a graduate of Wingfield High School, Class of 1979 and a long time resident of Byram, MS. Anne was the daughter of the late Billy T. Ainsworth, stepmother Lena Ainsworth, mother Linda Gail Wilson and stepfather, Emmitt Edward Wilson. Anne spent most of her career in the Banking Industry and retired this year from Bank Plus after 14 years of service. She was a member of Lakeshore Church and accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior. Anne and her husband Robbie enjoyed riding motorcycles, traveling together and spending time with family and friends. Anne was an avid member of the “Bunko Babes” for the last eight years and considered the members of this group as her extended family. Anne was wise beyond her years and truly led her life with a “Servant Heart”. If she knew you and there was a need, family or not, Anne was always there offering her help. Anne was raised in a large family and was always considered the “Glue” that kept us all together. She was prepared for each chapter in her life, including the last. Those of us that are left behind will dearly miss Anne. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Robbie Rush, two children; daughter Erin Mayo (Kelly), son Bobby Rush (Hailee), Grandson Davis Rush, brother Chuck Ainsworth (Betty), sisters Cheryl Katz (Howard), Brenda Kirkland (Louis), half brother Don Ainsworth (Theresa), step sisters Mary Powers (Ronnie), Tina Gardner (Ray), Annette Loper (Tim), stepbrothers Michael Wilson (Leigh) and Eric Wilson (Lisa). Additionally, Anne is survived by numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews. There will be a visitation on Saturday, October 26, 2013 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at Lakeshore Church in Byram, MS and a celebration of Anne’s life starting at 2:00pm.
