Mrs. Annie Kate Broome

Annie Broome, 92, of Byram left this earthly life August, 31, 2021, in Crystal Springs, MS. Visitation will be Saturday, September 4, 2021, at Wynndale Baptist Church in Terry MS from 9:30 am until the hour of service at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson MS. Mrs. Broome, a long-time resident of the Jackson area, was born March 4, 1929 in Reform, Alabama to Katie and Clarence Alexander. She lived in the Jackson area for over 40 years and was employed by Jackson Public Schools for 30+ years. Her passions in life were her Lord, her church, and her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Kelly Broome; 3 sisters, Mary Ellen Peterson, Fran Robinson, and Edna Hill; and 3 brothers, Oscar Alexander, Shelby Alexander, and Ed Alexander. She is survived by her daughters, Patsy (Ralph) Alford of Terry and Betty (Robert) Davis of Byram; 6 grandchildren;15 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
