Mrs. Annie M. Lewis

Mrs. Annie McCraw Lewis, 91, passed away Thursday, April 02, 2015 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 07, 2015 from 6pm to 8pm at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram, MS. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 08, 2015 at 10:30am at Lakewood South in Jackson, MS. Mrs. Lewis lived most of her life in Jackson. She was a long time member of McDowell Road Baptist Church. She retired after 30 years from South Central Bell, was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and the Order of the Eastern Star Leavell Woods Chapter #342. She was preceded in death by her husband J.B. Lewis; siblings James McCraw, Ruby Doris Burkes and Edward McCraw. She is survived by her brother Leroy McCraw of Byram; nieces and nephews Doris Ann Nell (Richard) of Terry, Sharon Hensarling (Perry) of Terry, Phil McCraw of San Antonio, TX and Karen Terry (Glen) of The Woodland, TX; a number of great and great-great nieces and nephews. The family extends special thanks to the employees of Riggs Manor Greenhouse 1, the nurses and doctors of St. Dominic's Hospital and Hospice Ministries for their excellent care.
