Annie Elizabeth Thompson, 79, passed away Monday, October 26, 2009, at Willow Creek Nursing Home in Byram. Visitation will be 5-8pm Thursday, October 29, 2009, at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Graveside services will be 11am Friday, October 30, 2009 at New Hebron Cemetery in New Hebron, MS.\ \ Mrs. Thompson was born in Hazlehurst, MS to J.D. and Rushell Hutson Hydrick and a long time resident of Jackson. She was a partner with her husband in Thompson Air Conditioning and Heating and member of Forest Hill United Methodist Church.\ \ She is preceded in death by her husband Merlin Langston Thompson; son, Sonny Joe Merlin Thompson and grandson, Hayden Thompson.\ \ Survivors include sons Bud Thompson of Terry and Tommy Jay Thompson of Madison; daughter Linda Thompson Talley of Raymond; brother Tom Hydrick of Forest; sister Lavonne Chamblee of Florence; grandchildren Celeste Sutherland; Casey, Trey, Hunter, and Haley Thompson; and Zachary and Ryan Talley.\ \ On line guest book at...
