Anthony Ray (Tony) Bryant, 37, on Wednesday, February 13, 2008, was called to his heavenly home to be with his Lord and Savior. His strong faith was evident throughout his life, but especially so during his five year battle with a brain tumor. He ultimately won the battle! Visitation will be 4-8pm Friday, February 15, 2008 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Services will be at 2:00pm Saturday at Hillcrest Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memorial Park.\ \ He was a loving, dedicated husband and father to his wife and children. He was everything a husband/father should be-gentle, humble, loving, strong, firm and yet tender. He loved the Lord and taught his children and wife in the ways of the Lord.\ \ Tony graduated from Wingfield High School in 1988 and Mississippi College in 1997. He was a software engineer with Tybrin Corporation in Huntsville, Ala., prior to moving back to the Terry area.\ \ He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Jewel Bryant and niece, Hannah Austin.\ \ Survivors include his beloved wife of fifteen years, Rhonda Russell Bryant; two children, Joshua Garner Bryant and Bethany Ann Bryant; Parents, Ray and Peggy Bryant of Terry; two sisters, Michele Watts of Terry and Wendy Austin of Port Gibson; brother, Nathan (Andy) Bryant of Baton Rouge, LA; in-laws, Burt and Marilyn Russell of Clinton; several aunts and uncles, cousins, brothers and sisters in-law, nieces and nephews.\ \ Memorial may be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church.
