Ashley Curt Buchanan, 34, on Friday, February 15, left this earth to be eternally with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. His strong Christian faith was evident throughout his life. \ \ Ashley was born on June 25, 1973, in Ozark, AL to Carolyn Jean Head and Edward Earl Buchanan. He was a loving, dedicated son, husband and father. Ashley loved playing with his boys, hunting and fishing, and going to Saints games. He loved the Lord and led his wife and children in the ways of the Lord. \ \ Before moving to Clinton, MS in 1984, Ashley had lived in Kenner, LA. He graduated from Clinton High School in 1991 and attended Mississippi College. He was the owner of Nu View Windshield Repair, a business he started in 1992. Ashley began his tape ministry at 15 years of age, had a prison ministry at the juvenile detention center and participated in the Parkway Baptist Church street ministry.\ \ He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bhuel Benford and Louise Dawsey Buchanan of Dothan, AL, and his mother-in-law, Rebecca Kay Brock of Richland, MS.\ \ Survivors include his beloved wife of 15 years, Laura Kay Brock Buchanan of Clinton; three sons whom he adored, Jordan Ashley Buchanan, Toby Brock Buchanan and Brendan Curt Buchanan, all of Clinton; parents, Edward Earl and Carolyn Jean Head Buchanan of Clinton; brother, Edward (Eddie) Earl Buchanan, Jr. of Clinton; maternal grandparents, Lester Curt and Louetta Caroline Moore Head of Ozark, AL; father-in-law, Jerold A. Brock and wife Dee, of Richland; two brothers-in-law, Thomas Daniel Nall and wife Jennifer of Oxford, and Trey Brock of Richland.\ \ Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at Parkway Baptist Church in Clinton from 9:00am until the 11:00am service at which time family and friends will gather for a celebration service of Ashley's life.\ \ In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Colonial Heights Baptist Church Tape Ministry or Parkway Baptist Church Street Ministry.\ \ \ \
