Audrey Louise Gregory

Mrs. Audrey Louise Welch Gregory passed peacefully from this life to join her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, December 26, 2023. Mrs. Gregory was born on March 9, 1943, in Harrisville, Mississippi. She was a long-time resident of Harrisville and attended Antioch Baptist Church. She retired from Sperry Vickers in 1995. Most recently, she lived in Biloxi, Mississippi.

Mrs. Gregory was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert “Greg” Gregory; her parents, Ernest and Velma Welch (nee Ashley); and siblings, Leon and Shelton Welch.

She is survived by her two sons, Joseph Crain (Brenda) of Biloxi; Scott Crain (Catalina) of Frankfurt, Germany; five grandchildren, Joshua Shargel (Chrisoula) of San Mateo, California; Anna, Zachary, and Jacob Crain, all of Roanoke, Virginia, and Thomas Crain of Frankfurt, Germany; one great-grandchild, Gregory; and sister Sue Kelly of Hammond, Louisiana.

Visitation will be Friday, December 29, from 4-7 pm and the service will be on Saturday, December 30, at 11 am, both at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Interment will follow at Palestine Cemetery in Harrisville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
