Austin M. Furlow\ Florence\ \ Mr. Austin M. Furlow, 84, died Sunday, May 27, 2012 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be held 5-8 p.m. Monday and 1-2 p.m. Tuesday at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow at Natchez Trace Memorial Park.\ \ Mr. Furlow, a 22 year resident of Florence, was a native of Pinola, MS. He was a graduate of Life Bible College in Los Angeles, CA. He worked 10 years with the Jackson Fire Department. He then went into business for himself at Union 76 Truck Center in Jackson where he retired. Mr. Furlow was a member of Marvin United Methodist Church.\ \ He found joy in talking with people. He was a very happy and positive person.
