Mrs. Barbara Ruthanne Hendricks

Barbara Olson Engdahl Hendricks, 71, passed away Friday, January 6, 2017 at Copiah Living Center in Crystal Springs, MS. Family and friends will gather together to celebrate her life on Monday, January 9, 2017 from 4pm until the 5pm memorial service, all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram, MS. Mrs. Hendricks was born and raised in Jamestown, NY, then moved to Vicksburg, MS where she spent most of her life. Her working career was as a hairdresser. She is preceded in death by her parents, Sherwood W. Olson and Mary Kestler Olson; and her sister, Becky Johnson. Survivors include her son Mark Engdahl of Vicksburg, MS; daughter, Kelly (Adam) Peoples of Raymond, MS; brother, Bill (Sharon) Olson of Jamestown, NY; grandchildren, Olivia, Allie and Sadie Peoples and Emma Engdahl.
