Mrs. Barbara Ann Price

Barbara Ann Price, 72 went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at MS Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Thursday, January 8, 2015 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Funeral Services will be 10 am Friday, January 9, 2015 at Country Woods Baptist Church, with a one hour visitation prior to service time. Interment will follow at Cedarlawn Cemetery in Jackson. Mrs. Price was born in Clark County, MS to the late Vernon and Connie Waltman Napp. She lived in Jackson for the last 55 years and was a member of Country Woods Baptist Church. "Nanny" was the consummate wife, mother and homemaker. She was an excellent cook and loved preparing meals for her family and friends. She also enjoyed quilting, Teaching her Sunday School children and caring for others. Survivors include her husband of 55 years Revis Price of Jackson; son Robert Price (Angela) of Utica; daughters Connie Price of Jackson and Debbie Smith (Ken) of Utica; 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
