Mrs. Barbara Power Skeen

Mrs. Barbara Power Skeen, 76, passed away Friday, December 11, 2015 at MS Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation will be Monday, December 14th from 5-8pm and Tuesday, December 15th from 10am until the 11am Funeral Service all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow in Mt. Creek Cemetery. Mrs. Skeen loved ceramics, woodworking and crafts. She also loved sewing and cooking. Mrs. Skeen is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Skeen; her son, Marty Skeen; her parents, Romey and Eva Mae Power; her brother, Ronnie Power; her sisters, Catherine Norris and Francis Henson; her half brother, Frank Power; and her granddaughter, Heather-Renee’. She is survived by her sons, Ricky (Karen) Skeen of Madison and Mike (Elizabeth) Skeen of Florence, and 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
