Barbara Tillman

Mrs. Barbara Worth Tillman, 79, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 1, 2009 at MS Baptist Medical Center. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 3, 2009 2 - 3 p.m. prior to the 3 p.m. funeral service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Interment will follow in New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Simpson County.\ \ Mrs. Tillman is remembered by her love for others as she cared for others and lived a life helping others. She enjoyed reading especially mystery novels and loved all animals and her special cat, Angel. She was a member of New Zion Baptist Church.\ \ She is preceded in death by her son, Charles Richard Tillman and close and loving friend, James L. McLemore.\ \ She leaves behind a son, Mike Tillman of Jackson; a daughter, Dixie Faulkner of Carthage and one granddaughter, Stacy Sanders.\
