Bennie Boggs

Mr. Bennie Lee Boggs, 73, died at MS Baptist Medical Center Tuesday, April 13, 2010. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 14, 2010 from 5-8 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence and 9-10 a.m. Thursday prior to the Services at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Florence City Cemetery.\ \ Mr. Boggs was raised in Jackson and moved to Florence in 1964. He spent 44 years working with the Illinois Central Railroad. He was a member and Vice President of the Monterey Water Association and for many years was active in the MS Street Rod Association.\ \ He is preceded in death by his grandson, Richard Boggs. \ \ He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mary Boggs of Florence; sons: Vic (Nedra) Boggs of Florence and Lee (Becky) Boggs of Star; sisters: Becky (Pat) Tustain of Vicksburg and Jackie Pahnka of Natchez; grandchildren: David (Amanda) Boggs of Hernando, Daniel Boggs of Florence and Casey (Eric) McCaffrey of Jacksonville, FL; 2 great grandchildren: Conner and Brooklyn...
