Bessie Hemphill

Bessie Hemphill, 92, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2011 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. Visitation was Friday, July 1, 2011 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence from 5-8 pm and Saturday from 9 a.m. until the 10 a.m. service in the chapel. Burial will follow at Briar Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.\ \ Mrs. Hemphill retired from South Central Bell. She was also a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. \ \ She was preceded in death by her husband, James N. Hemphill. She is survived by three nephews, three nieces, two great nephews, and one great Niece.\
