Bettie Corley

Bettie Mae Salers Corley, age 74, gave up her life here on earth and went to be in the arms of our heavenly Father on February 18, 2012 after declining health and illness.\ \ Visitation will be from 5-8 Monday at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. A visitation will also be held from 1-2 Tuesday with a 2:00 Service following in the chapel. Burial will follow at Wesleyanna Cemetery in Star, MS. \ \ Bettie was preceded in death by her husband, Erbin Bishop Corley and her parents, Stella Grace Kimble Salers and Pellom Wilson Salers. She was survived by her children; Clint Corley (Robin), Jessica Corley Downey (Bobby) and Miles "Peewee" Corley (Jaimee); nine grandchildren and one great grandson; 3 sisters, Kathleen Matthews, Linda Salers, Peggy Salers and one brother, Dudley Salers.\ \ Bettie, who was born January 30, 1938, was the second of nine children.
