Bettie Berniece Horn

Bettie Berniece Horn passed away  Friday, July 12, 2024, at the age of 82 at her home in Florence, MS. She was born March 1 1 , 1942, to Julius Harmon and Virginia Inez (Downs) Heidelberg in Jasper County, MS.

She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Albert Edward "Pit" Horn; brother, Charles Heidelberg; and sisters, Lilith Cockrell, Savader Wilmoth, Ophelia Hicks, Annie Laurie McCoy, Marie Williams, and Margarita Roncali.

Bettie is survived by her daughters, Angela (Charles) Pike of Florence, MS, Twilla Horn of Pearl, MS, and Gail (Tommy) Morgan of Florence, MS; grandchildren, Troy Pike, Houston Pike, Bayleigh Morgan, and Owen Morgan; sister, Jane Scarbrough; brothers, Quince Heidelberg and Oliver Heidelberg; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved and thought of frequently.
