Betty Gillis

Betty Whitlock Gillis, 79, died peacefully Friday, February 15, 2008 at Central MS Medical Center in Jackson, MS after a brief illness. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, February 17, 2008 at Bluff Springs Baptist Church in Dekalb, MS. \ Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service in the church sanctuary. Burial will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Chancellor Funeral Home of Byram, MS.\ \ Mrs. Gillis was a resident of Meridian for forty five years and worked for Super Stop for over 30 years. At retirement, she loved to garden and visit with her family. We love and miss her.\ \ Survivors include 2 sons, Mike Whitlock and wife Ann of Meridian, MS, Steve Gillis and wife Kaye of Albuquerque, New Mexico, 2 daughters, Barbara Wolfe and husband John of Terry, MS, Vicki Faulkenberry of Fort Mill, SC, one brother, Max Cullum of Columbus, GA, Grandchildren, Rachelle Barnhardt, Michael Whitlock, Corey Wolfe, Hayley Warren, Jon and Justin Gillis, Renee and Kristy Faulkenberry, Great grandchildren Leeanna and Mackenzie Barnhardt, Tyler and Hayden Wolfe, Braxton and Jack Warren.\ \ On line guest book available at www.chancellorfuneralhome.com.\
