Betty June Renfroe

Betty June Renfroe crossed over into her Heavenly home on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, in Brandon. She was 94 years old. The family will receive friends for visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 12, 2023, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Interment will follow the service in the Garden of Memories.

Mrs. Betty was born on April 24, 1929, to Clarence and Alice Calfee in Bluefield, West Virginia. She lived many years in Jackson before moving to Florence. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She excelled as a master secretary for many years serving with many different places. She was a lifelong member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and was active in the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Jackson. Betty loved spending time with her family, cooking and playing the piano. She loved playing board games. She was witty and had a wonderful sense of humor. She was always entertaining and making people laugh.

Mrs. Betty is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl Renfroe; four sisters and four brothers. She is survived by her daughters Becky Swain of Terry and Tricia Bolton (Ray) of Florence; son, David Swain (Adele) of North Attleboro, MA; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
