Mrs. Betty Lou Sasser

Betty Lou Sasser, 77, passed away Monday, June 1, 2015 at her home in Richland. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 3, 2015 from 10 a.m. until the 12 p.m. Funeral Service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow at Sharon Cemetery in Magee. Mrs. Sasser was a loving mother and a doting grandma who gave of herself to her family and the community. She retired after 20 years at General Motors as a supervisor. She loved flowers, canning vegetables and the country. Mrs. Sasser is preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Billy Ray Sasser; 3 brothers and 2 sisters. She is survived by her sons, Marty (Lauren) Sasser of Terry, Billy (Dana) Sasser of Harrisville and Stevie (Debra) Sasser of Florence; 8 grandchildren, Megan Sasser, Nicki (Scott) Chisolm, Brandon Sasser, Shelby Sasser, Spencer Sasser, Noah Sasser, Katie Sasser and Olivia Sasser; and 1 great grandchild, Tinley Chisolm.
