Betty Ruth Davidson Todd

Funeral Services for Betty Ruth Davidson Todd, 90, of Florence, Mississippi will be held Saturday, September 2, 2023, at 12:00 Noon at New Hope Church of God in Toxey with Rev. Brent Boutwell officiating. Burial will follow at the Bonner Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Todd passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at Briar Hill Rest Home in Florence, Mississippi.  She was born on December 4, 1932, in Toxey to Robert Austin Davidson, Sr. and Maudie Skinner Davidson.

She is survived by her husband, Bennie Mack Todd; son, Lewis Mack Todd (Paulette); daughter, Cheryl Ann Todd Heinz; five grandchildren, Karen Crutchfield (Tim); Michael Todd (Billie); Sonya Heinz White (Joseph); Jeffery Freeman; and Julia Freeman Armstrong (Shawn); Twelve great-grandchildren, Amber Crutchfield Crider (Andrew); Haley Crutchfield; Ben Crutchfield; Samuel White; Elizabeth White; Maggie Freeman; Austin Major; Caden Major; Melody Major; Gaven Major; Madeline Brooke Armstrong; and Lillian Renea Armstrong; and sister-in-law, Wanda Davidson.  

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Austin Davidson, Sr. and Maudie Skinner Davidson; daughter, Geraldine Todd Freeman; brothers, Robert Austin Davidson, Jr. and Bobby Gene Davidson; and sisters, Mattie Cleo Miller and Elizabeth Downey Overstreet.

Pallbearers include Michael Todd, Gaven Major, Tim Crutchfield, Mack Edward Todd, Michael Etheridge, and Joshua Etheridge.
