Mrs. Bettye Hutchinson

Bettye Jean Hutchinson, 75, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at her home in Byram. Visitation will be 9:00am-10:30am Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Graveside services will follow at 11:00am at Terry Cemetery. Mrs. Hutchinson was born in Jackson, MS to the late Clifford William Cagle and Mary Sue Ogle Cagle. She lived in Byram since 1987, coming from Jackson and was a member of Byram Baptist Church. Mrs. Hutchinson always claimed her 15 minutes of fame was being in the cast of “O Brother Where Art Thou”. She always thought of her children and others first. She is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Thomas Hutchinson. Survivors include her son, John B (Sue Ellen) Hillhouse, Jr. of Braxton; daughters, Kimberly Jean Hillhouse of Byram, Catherine (Mark) Weaver of Laurel, Kaylyn (Will) Luttrell of Byram and Connie (Charlie) Rushing of Jackson; 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
