Betty Jean Teeters

Betty Jean Finks Teeters passed away at St. Dominic's Hospital on July 23, 2011, at the age of 84. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Winter Teeters, in 1981; her parents, Joseph and Iva Finks; one brother, Benjamin Finks, of El Paso, Texas; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.\ Mrs. Teeters is survived by her daughters, Phyllis Herring of Jackson, Betty (Randy) Smith of New Albany, Indiana, Sue Brock of Jackson, and son James (Shelah) Teeters; 14 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.\ Visitation will be at 5:00 to 7:00pm, Tuesday, July 26 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 27, 2:00pm at Mclaurin Cemetary.
