Big Bert Booth

Albert C. "Bert" Booth, 51, died after a long illness, Sunday, September 04, 2011 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland.\ \ Visitation is 5-8 PM Monday and 12-1 PM Tuesday at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Services will be held at 1 PM Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.\ \ Bert was a native of Jackson and has been a resident of Terry since 1982. He grew up active in Parkway Baptist Church. He worked 21 years, as a service foreman, for B&B Oil Equipment.\ \ Bert was preceded in death by his father, Jack Booth; and step-father, George Winstead. \ \ He is survived by his son, Zack Booth of Terry; mother, Wanda Winstead of Jackson; brothers, Greg Booth of Pearl and Phil Booth of Madison; and ex-wife, Terrie Booth; and ex-in-laws, Kenneth and Bobbie Boswell; and ex-brother-in-law, Lydell Boswell.\
