Bill Garrard

Bill Garrard, 66, died Sunday, November 20, 2011 at his home in Harrisville. Visitation is 5-8 PM Monday, November 21, 2011 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. A graveside service is scheduled for 11 AM Tuesday at the Harrisville Cemetery.\ \ Bill spent his professional career working as an electrician and truck driver. During his spare time, he enjoyed working with horses and his motorcycle. He was a member of the Internation Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (I.B.E.W. 480) and Harrisville Baptist Church. Most of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren who were the love of his life.\ \ Bill was preceded in death by his father, Roy Bethea Garrard.\ \ He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sylvia Garrard; daughters, Billie Jo Mize (Paul Long) and Ronda Wedgeworth (Chad), all of Florence; grandchildren, Zane, Ethan, Zach, Kace and Zoey; brother, Dennis Garrard; and sister, Christy Jackson (Dennis).
